I found that writers block was more of a problem with me in the first few months of my blogging efforts. A major mental trap is persistence (not to be confused with perserverance) which leads to that whole 'I've started so I'll finish' mindset that keeps us plugging away at things we're not enjoying because we think if we don't see it through we've 'wasted' the time we've already invested. Time spent in the learning process is rarely wasted. We can almost always apply what we've learned during the 'failed' project to the next one. Another good book on this one is Mental Traps.
